Most people contact me when a situation has become difficult, important, or stuck.
Sometimes there is conflict. Sometimes there is a major decision to make. Sometimes communication has broken down and people are struggling to find a way forward.
My role is to help people understand issues clearly, have better conversations, explore options, and move towards practical outcomes.
Based in Nelson and working throughout New Zealand, I help people, organisations and communities navigate conflict, difficult decisions, organisational change and complex stakeholder issues.
My work includes mediation, facilitation, determination, governance support, community engagement and decision-making processes.
Every situation is different.
Some involve conflict. Others involve important decisions, organisational change, governance challenges, workplace issues, or competing interests.
There is rarely a single solution that fits every circumstance. My role is to help identify the process most likely to assist people to understand the issues, communicate effectively, explore options, and move forward.
Depending on the situation, that process may involve mediation, facilitation, determination, structured dialogue, stakeholder engagement, workplace resolution, or decision-making support.

For more than 20 years I have worked with organisations to improve workplace culture, strengthen leadership capability and navigate organisational change.
This experience includes working with senior leaders, teams, unions, government agencies, private businesses, and community organisations in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
My work has included organisational transformation, leadership development, workplace performance improvement, conflict management, employee relations, governance support, and strategic change programmes.
Technology is changing the way people communicate, work and solve problems.
I am particularly interested in how AI and digital tools can support better workplace conversations, earlier intervention, improved decision-making and more effective resolution processes.
My goal is not to replace human judgement, but to use technology to help people understand issues sooner and resolve them more effectively.
I am developing AI-assisted resolution tools designed to help organisations, leaders, managers and employees prepare for difficult conversations, better understand workplace issues, improve communication, and engage more effectively in resolution processes.
